This brand-new 4'5" “Mahi” from San Diego shaper Mark Sarinana is a compact, modern take on the classic Mini Simmons design. Featuring a wide, parallel outline, a broad nose and tail, and a clean, low-profile shape, this little board is built to generate effortless speed and glide in smaller surf. The generous planing area helps it get moving in weaker waves, while the compact length keeps it playful and easy to maneuver.
Built with lightweight EPS construction, the Mahi pairs its distinctive Mini Simmons outline with a clean white finish and carbon supports on both side of the board. The twin-fin setup adds to its loose, skatey feel, offering smooth down the line speed and flowing turns. Perfect for maximizing fun in waist-high and smaller waves, this custom mini cruiser is all about catching more waves and keeping things playful. Small in size, big on glide—ready to wax and fly!
ABOUT THE SHAPER: Sarinana Surfboards are made from start to finish by Mark Sarinana. Mark grew up in Orange County and San Diego, California and has been surfing since grommet-hood. He started shaping in 2013, making boards 100% by hand (shaping, glassing, and sanding) with much thought and experimentation.
