CONDITIOIN: This "UFO Rocket" model by Becker Surfboards is in great condition! The deck has mostly light, with a few medium scattered pressures. The belly is really clean with just a few light pressures and streaks scattered about. There were a few repairs made to bring this one to our standard: one just below the nose tip, one to the tail block and a spot approx 3" above the tail, and a few misc spots along the rail line. Each repair was done professionally, and each one smooth, flush, and completely water tight - and fully polished to match the board's original gloss finish. This board feels fresh, has many more years of life breathed back into it, and is ready to wax and ride!
FROM BECKER: The Becker UFO is an updated classic longboard falling into the All-Around category. The UFO offers great paddling with fantastic noseriding capabilities. Phil Becker uses exactly the same template that built the famous “Rick” UFO model he shaped in the mid-sixties, the rails, rockers, and contours are all modern. This would be our widest contempory longboard shape. Bahne box center, and O’fish’l side fins allow you to ride a classic single fin style, or a more performance driven tri-fin set up… Just a tad of nose concave for a smooth rail to rail transition, and a little more lift for noseriding without slowing down the drive.
